I'm
a retired Navy Chief with 24 years active duty service. My last duty station was onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75)
from 1999 to 2002. I'm married with two grown children. My oldest daughter just finished her 4-year active duty
obligation in the Air Force and now works in Washington DC. Like me, she's also taking college courses and earning livelihood
at the same time. My youngest daughter on the other hand, is a full-time sophomore at George Mason University in Fairfax
VA. My wife works as a Certified Nurse Assistant in a Virginia Beach Retirement Home.
We arrived in
Hampton Roads in June 1999 which is the longest we stayed in one place so we consider it home now. However, many of our family
friends and relatives still reside in California which we still refer to as our second homestate.
